The Kaces Xpress Porter marries the convenience of wheels to a practical and well thought out design that every keyboard player needs to arrive at the gig with minimal hassle. A durable luggage-grade exterior with smooth-glide in-line skate style wheels makes transporting even the bulkiest keyboards a breeze, while the plastic wheel guards make curbs, stairs, and even potholes navigable. The bottom has been reinforced internally with an additional scratch guard near the wheels, while 1" thick dual-layer padding maintains rigidity on the outer side and a comfortable cushion to protect the keyboard on the inside. The rubber comfort-grip handle allows the case to be pulled with ease, and a detachable shoulder strap and quilted grip handle offer additional transport options. Three large expandable pockets provide plenty of storage space for even the most well-provisioned player, with room for a laptop or table top synth, cables, power supplies, sustain pedals, sheet music, and other accessories.

Finally – out of the chemist and into the music shops: tomandwill appointed as exclusive UK/Ireland

distributor for Vocalzone

“I want the word to get out that Vocalzone are the best throat pastilles in the world” – Sir Tom Jones

tomandwill has been appointed exclusive distributors in the UK for Vocalzone Throat Pastilles to Recording Studios, Rehearsal Rooms, Music Stores and associated websites.

“I am delighted to be working exclusively with the team at tomandwill to launch Vocalzone Throat Pastilles in Music Stores” commented George Ponsford, Sales and Marketing Director of Vocalzone. “Appointing a distributor was the final piece in the jigsaw of a three-year project to move into what is a new and exciting distribution channel for us. We have worked very hard produce a top quality point of sale unit and supporting marketing materials to assist with the launch”.

The Vocalzone Throat Pastilles retail pack includes POS unit, sales info pack, FOC poster, window sticker and handy voice guides.

“What impressed me most about tomandwill was the breadth of knowledge, contacts and experience in the team, combined with the instant ability to grasp what we are trying to achieve with our brand. It probably helped that quite a few of their team are musicians and had been using Vocalzone Throat Pastilles for years!”

William Lloyd originally made the product for Caruso in the early 1900’s after the singer was suffering from a tired voice. Lloyd, an ear nose and throat specialist from the London Hospital, combined menthol, peppermint oil and myrrh tincture to create the remedy and whose subsequent reward was to accompany the Italian tenor when he was touring.

Apart from Sir Tom Jones, other famous Vocalzone users range from Julie Andrews to James Hetfield, Madonna to Nine Inch Nails and Placido Domingo to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Artists who use Vocalzone have sold over one billion records.

John Hughes-Chamberlain of tomandwill said that the company is “delighted to be providing yet another new and interesting item for music shops to sell over the counter – Vocalzone are massively popular with musicians around the world and it’s about time that they will be able to purchase from their local music store.

The marketing material that George and his colleagues have put together is wonderful; they are endorsed by countless celebrities and as easy to sell as a set of strings!”

Music retailers wanting their share of sales should contact tomandwill at www.tomandwill.com or call 0845 0945 659

tomandwill, named as Europe’s main dealer for Jumbie Jam

tomandwill, UK musical instrument gig bag specialists has had their distribution remit for the Jumbie Jam steel pans extended to cover all of Europe. The award winning drums manufactured by USA company Panyard have sold well into schools and the retail market, and Panyard are keen to use tomandwill’s reach to appoint distributors across the continent.

One reason for Jumbie Jam’s success is the pans keep tune and have a rich professional tone – not easy to achieve in the steel pan world! The attraction to schools is clear – a good fun, great sounding product that isn’t going to stretch the budget too much will always encourage children to play music. Sales through to the retail market have grown strongly as well, which bodes well for interested European distributors that would like to get involved.

Randy Kerns, Panyard’s director of marketing commented “The team at Panyard is very excited to announce that we are sending our favourite son ‘The Jumbie Jam’ over the big pond to the UK and Ireland represented by tomandwill. We are thrilled to have a company like tomandwill supporting the Jumbie Jam and we look forward to a successful and longstanding working relationship”.
